Dry natural gas production in the U.S. which is the consumer-ready grade of natural gas reached a new all-time high of 74.3 Bcf per day in December 2014.
From the December high, production has been in an on-going decline as the natural gas rig count has reached a new all-time low of 196.
Production for week ended 09/16 was estimated at 71.9 Bcf, down 2.4 bcf or 3.2% from the December 2014 high according to the EIA.
Declining production could quickly become a bullish feature for the natural gas market.
