DJ Natural Gas Futures Near Danger Zone -- Market Talk
09:28 EDT - If natural gas cracks below $2.55/MMBtu, it's a really bearish sign for the market, Societe Generale
says. Many analysts and traders think that gas futures are moving largely on technical factors this spring. July
futures bounced Thursday despite data showing the second-largest weekly surplus on record. That happened after prices
hit a one-month intraday low of $2.556. If it falls past that, watch for a "deeper correction," Societe Generale says.
Gas heads in that direction this morning, down 1.6% at $2.583/MMBtu. (tim.puko@wsj.com)
