Natural Gas Commitment of Trader's Report - Funds Adding Length As The Market Collapses To New 3-Year Lows

The funds have not been a strong presence in the natural gas market over the past summer as prices for the most part held in a sideways trading range.

The funds have been lightly added to existing length in the natural gas market over the past two weeks.  Friday's Commitment of Trader's report showed the funds long 87,948 contracts, up 2,480 from the previous week.

Fund buying may now turn to fund selling as the market plummets to new 3-year price low in today's early trade.
