Natural Gas Corner - Seasonal Price Trend Review

It is getting a bit late for a second and final seasonal low to form in the natural gas market.  But given storage which has reached the 4,000 Bcf mark for the first time ever and very little winter heating demand, weakness is to be expected.

The seasonal trend chart shows the natural gas market price movement over the past 3 and 5 years.

Yesterday's spike low by the December 15 contract held above the 1.948 low set in October which could end up being a 2015 and possibly a multi-year price low for natural gas.
