Market Talk - Bullish Natural Gas View Becoming Consensus

DJ Bullish Natural-Gas View Becoming 'Consensus' -- Market Talk

10:24 ET - Expectations for a sharp rise in natural-gas prices next year are widespread, says Tudor Pickering, which
shares that bullish view. "These days we get little push back on our call for a gas spike towards $3.65/mcf in 2017,"
the bank says. The expectation is that natural-gas production will fall due to spending cuts at the same time as demand
picks up. Natural-gas exposed equities have rallied this month and many companies' shares are pricing in a $3.35/mcf
long-term natural-gas price, up from a $2.90/mcf assumption a few months ago, according to TPH. Natural-gas futures
down 3.4% today at $1.903/mmBtu. (nicole.friedman@wsj.com, @NicoleFriedman)
