U.S. Natural Gas Prices Seen Remaining Low

DJ US Natural-Gas Prices Seen Remaining Low -- Market Talk

7:34 EDT - JBC Energy expects Henry Hub prices to average $2.88/MMBtu this year, down roughly 1/3 from 2014, due to
abundant supply. So far this year, industrial natural-gas consumption has fallen surprisingly short of expectations on
the back of much-milder temperatures compared to last year's fierce winter. Although power-sector demand has risen
almost 20% on-year, gas production is rising. And low prices hasn't discouraged production, with the US natural-gas rig
count appearing to have bottomed out. Additional bearish pressure on prices will likely come from high storage levels,
which have been above the 5-year average. (mari.iwata@wsj.com)
